# SLS SAT program walkthrough

## Your five-step SAT path

Welcome to SLS SAT practice. Follow five steps: take a full test, find weak topics, practice those topics, retest, and repeat toward your goal.

## 1  Create your SAT account

On the SAT Practice Account page, choose Create Account. Enter the student's information and select a plan. Then choose Create Account and Continue to Payment.

## 2  Finish secure payment

Your account screen gives you an access code. Save it. Use the secure payment button and the same email, then return to SLS. Practice opens after payment confirmation.

## 3  Open a full test

Once signed in, begin in Folder 3, All SAT Complete Tests. Pick a full test and select Start or resume Attempt 1.

## 4  Start your first attempt

The full test includes timed Reading and Writing and Math sections. Work through each section and submit when you finish.

## 5  Find your weak topics

After submitting, open your results and look at Performance by domain. The scores on this demo screen are examples only. Start with the domain that needs the most work.

## 6  Choose a Math module

For Math, open Folder 1, SAT Math Topics and Modules. Expand the matching topic, such as Algebra, and choose a module.

## 7  Learn how to solve

Inside a Math question, select How to solve. The guide works through a similar problem step by step. Then return to the original question and answer it yourself.

## 8  Choose an English module

For Reading and Writing, open Folder 2, English Topics and Modules. Expand the matching topic and choose a module.

## 9  Learn how to answer

Select How to answer beside an English question. Follow the highlighted rule and guided steps, then make your own choice on the original question.

## 10  Review your work

When you finish a module, open My Grade Folder. Review the full question, figures or tables, your answer, the correct answer, and the explanation.

## 11  Retest and repeat

After focused practice, return to Folder 3 for another full test. Compare your domain results, choose the next modules, and repeat toward your target score.
